Overview of the “2025 Sanrio Character Ranking” Commemorative Items
Sanrio Co., Ltd. is set to release commemorative items for the 40th anniversary of the “2025 Sanrio Character Ranking” in Japan starting from April 10, 2025. The first wave of products includes a set of 40 embroidered patch keychains, and as secret items, there will also be 30 secret name badge pins and 30 secret rubber mirror keychains.
The second wave is scheduled for release on April 16, 2025, and is titled the “I♡ME Series Part 1”, featuring plush toys (10 types), secret charms (10 types), and customizable keychains (10 types), with characters like Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, Pochacco, and Tuxedosam. The plush toys and secret charms are designed with characters hugging their own plushies, expressing the concept of “I♡ME” — encouraging self-love and self-care.
Following that, on May 14, 2025, the “I♡ME Series Part 2” will launch, featuring popular characters like My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, Wish Me Mell, Hanamaru Obake, and Little Forest Fellow in the same lineup of three items. Details for the third and fourth waves will be announced later on the official Sanrio portal site.
