Overview of Mobile Suit Gundam CAPSULE INDEX
Bandai’s Vendor Division is set to release a brand-new Gashapon figure series titled “Mobile Suit Gundam CAPSULE INDEX 01” in Japan starting in the 5th week of July 2025. This series features four mobile suits selected from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM and Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, and will be available for 400 yen (tax included) per capsule. The products will be distributed via Gashapon vending machines installed at official Bandai Gashapon shops, toy stores, electronics retailers, and mass-market outlets throughout Japan.
The concept of the series is “an encyclopedia inside a capsule,” aiming to let fans understand each character’s essence as soon as they open the capsule. Each figure stands at approximately 50mm (5cm / about 1.97 inches) tall and is a non-poseable deformed-style figure. Despite the compact size, the figures boast detailed sculpting and dynamic poses, capturing a moment of motion. The volume and presence of each item make this a must-collect series for Gundam fans.
