Overview of “Ichiban Kuji DRAGON BALL 40th ~Vol.1~”
In Japan, on October 31, Bandai will release the special lottery “Ichiban Kuji DRAGON BALL 40th ~Vol.1~”, celebrating the 40th anniversary of Akira Toriyama’s legendary manga Dragon Ball.
The lottery will be available at 7-Eleven, Ito-Yokado, YouMe Town, and other participating stores across Japan, priced at 800円 per draw (tax included).
The A Prize and B Prize feature 3D figures based on the cover illustrations from Volume 1 and Volume 42 of the original manga. The bases of these figures replicate Toriyama’s original manga pages and cover art in stunning detail. Other prizes (C–I) include items inspired by the manga, such as a visual board (approx. 55cm / about 21.6 inches) decorated with Toriyama’s color artwork, and mugs featuring iconic scenes from the series.
The Last One Prize, awarded to the person who draws the final ticket, is a Super Saiyan Son Goku Gigamanga Structure Figure (Last One Ver.), standing approximately 23cm (about 9 inches) tall. A Double Chance Campaign will also be held, offering fans another opportunity to win the same exclusive Goku figure. This special Ichiban Kuji lineup is the perfect way for fans to celebrate four decades of Dragon Ball history.
