Overview of Gunpla “HG 1/144 Rising Freedom” and “Immortal Justice”
Introducing Gundam-related products scheduled to be released in Japan on January 26, 2024, for anime fans in the English-speaking world. BANDAI SPIRITS’ Hobby Division announced the launch of two Gunpla models, “HG 1/144 Rising Freedom Gundam” and “HG 1/144 Immortal Justice Gundam,” coinciding with the release of the movie “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM.” These Gunpla models, being the protagonist’s mechs in the movie, are highly anticipated by fans. HG 1/144 Rising Freedom Gundam
This model is equipped with the “SEED Action System,” specially designed for recreating action poses. A unique feature is that some parts can be swapped to transform into MA mode. It comes with a new shield, and after unfolding, you can attach clear effect parts to faithfully replicate the movie’s imagery. The beam shield employs “polarized molding,” changing color depending on the angle of light, creating a beautiful glow.
Additionally, the model’s gimmicks, such as the expansion of the back wings, Agni cannon, and the extension of the railgun barrels on the waist, allow for a powerful “HiMAT Full Burst” representation. The two beam sabers can be connected, and the sliding mechanism of each leg joint promotes bold leg movement. The color separation of the molded parts ensures a satisfying finish just by assembling.

Additionally, the boomerangs mounted on both hips can be equipped with effect parts, and the beam cutter extending from the knee to the toes is also represented with effect parts. The individual sliding mechanism of each leg joint enables dynamic leg movement. The detailed color separation of the molded parts provides a high level of satisfaction just from assembly.
