In Japan, the “Pokémon Center Kagawa” is set to hold its grand opening in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture on October 24. To celebrate this special occasion, a lineup of exclusive Kagawa × Pokémon collaboration goods will be released.
Kagawa, widely known as the “Udon Prefecture,” appointed Slowpoke (Yadon) as an official PR ambassador because the Japanese words “Udon” and “Yadon” sound similar.

The commemorative merchandise includes a variety of items such as blankets, pouches, stationery, and apparel featuring artwork of Pikachu and Slowpoke relaxing in Kagawa.
There are also region-inspired products like a Pikachu plush holding udon noodles, udon bowls, glasses, square plates, and even a Horsea (Tattsuu)-themed soy sauce dispenser, all designed to bring a playful Pokémon twist to traditional Kagawa culture.
