Overview of Pokémon Happy Meal
McDonald’s Japan is set to launch the Pokémon Happy Meal starting August 9 in Japan. This year’s Happy Meal lineup includes eight different toys that allow kids to enjoy outdoor play with Pokémon characters, such as water guns, watering cans, and telescopes.
The sales period will last approximately three weeks. The first phase runs from August 9 to 15, the second phase from August 16 to 22, and the third phase starts on August 23, where one of the eight toys from the first and second phases will be available.

Phase 1: Captain Pikachu’s Spinning Waterwheel
Captain Pikachu’s Spinning Waterwheel toy spins when water is poured onto its back. It can also be spun manually.
Phase 1: Terapagos’ Poké Ball Watering Can
The Terapagos’ Poké Ball Watering Can is shaped like a Poké Ball, with a Terapagos panel attached to the side to serve as a handle.
Phase 1: Sprigatito’s Tool Kit
Sprigatito’s Tool Kit features the Grass Cat Pokémon. When you pinch Sprigatito’s ears, its front paws open to change the tools.
Phase 1: Fuecoco’s Flying Disc
Fuecoco’s Flying Disc is an orange disc with a flame design, fitting for the Fire Crocodile Pokémon.
Phase 2: Quaxly’s Water Gun
Quaxly’s Water Gun shoots water from its mouth and comes with a target designed like a Poké Ball.
Phase 2: Sprigatito’s Telescope
Sprigatito’s Telescope is perfect for adventures. Stretch the yellow part to enlarge objects. Remember not to look at the sun with it.
Phase 2: Captain Pikachu’s Rolling Roller
Captain Pikachu’s Rolling Roller leaves electric patterns when rolled over sand or clay. It works best on fine sand.
Phase 2: Poké Ball Compass
The Poké Ball Compass is a toy compass. While its accuracy is only approximate, it can be a fun addition to your backpack for outdoor adventures.
