Overview of the “Hello Kitty” Happy Meal
In Japan, a new limited-time “Hello Kitty” Happy Meal will be available at McDonald’s locations nationwide (excluding select stores) starting July 11, 2025. Prices begin at 490 yen. The Happy Meal will include one of six summer-themed Hello Kitty toys, featuring designs such as “Surfboard-Shaped Ice Maker” and “Yukata Hello Kitty Pouch Clip.” These toys highlight seasonal motifs like sun-tanned skin, swimsuits, and traditional Japanese yukata.
Additionally, each toy box includes a QR code that can be scanned with a smartphone to access the exclusive “Hello Kitty’s Happy Suika Game.” In this original collaboration game, players combine fruits to create watermelons while aiming for a special version of “Watermelon Kitty.”
A third wave of toy distribution is also planned, where one randomly selected item from the first two waves will be available. Please note that the toys are distributed randomly and cannot be chosen. The promotion is available in limited quantities and will end once supplies run out.
