Bandai has announced a special 50th-anniversary collaboration product in Japan between “Tamagotchi” and Sanrio Characters, including Hello Kitty. The latest Wi-Fi-enabled model, “Tamagotchi Uni Sanrio Characters” (9,350 yen), is scheduled for release on July 13, 2024. Additionally, “Hello Kitty Tamagotchi Red” and “Hello Kitty Tamagotchi Sky Blue” (each priced at 2,860 yen) are set to launch on August 3, 2024. The “Tamaverse Ticket Sanrio characters,” sold separately for 1,210 yen, allows users of the standard “Tamagotchi Uni” model to enjoy the same features as the collaboration model. Pre-orders for these collaborative models are currently open.
