Anime fans, the wait is over! Introducing a special collaboration product, “GOUTER de ROI Valentine’s Selection Hello Kitty,” set to be released in Japan on January 11th. This product is a result of a unique collaboration between the confectionery store “GATEAU FESTA HARADA” and the popular character, Hello Kitty, exclusively for the Valentine’s season and in limited quantities.
In this collaboration, everything from the cans to the individual packaging and wrapping paper is adorned with Hello Kitty designs. The product lineup includes two types: a white-themed “Small Decorative Can” (with 6 GOUTER de ROI rusk pieces) and a red-themed “Large Decorative Can” (with 10 pieces). Inside, you will find two types of GOUTER de ROI rusks: one coated with creamy milk chocolate and the other, a Valentine’s edition, with a sharp and clear taste using woody-aroma milk chocolate.
Furthermore, there are four types of individual package designs, randomly assorted in the cans. Which design you will get is part of the fun! Plus, the cans can be reused for storing small items after you’ve finished the sweets.
This “GOUTER de ROI Valentine’s Selection Hello Kitty” will be available for a limited time starting January 11th at Daimaru Kyoto store in Kyoto City, and at GATEAU FESTA HARADA stores nationwide. Reservations are also being accepted at the GATEAU FESTA HARADA online shop, but remember, it’s a limited quantity!

About GATEAU FESTA HARADA
GATEAU FESTA HARADA (GATEAU FESTA HARADA) is a renowned brand operated by “Harada Corporation,” based in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture. The brand is particularly known for the production and sale of its GOUTER de ROI rusk.
The brand’s history began in 1901 when it was founded as a Japanese confectionery business by Ushitaro Harada in Manyo District, New Town (now Takasaki City, New Town). However, during World War II and under the food control of 1946, the company began producing bread. After expanding into the production and sale of bread and Western confections for general customers, the brand faced declining performance due to the post-bubble recession in the gift confectionery market and the rise of supermarkets and convenience stores.
To overcome this crisis, the company started processing surplus bread into rusk, launching it as “GOUTER de ROI” in 2000. Initially, sales were low, but promotional efforts at department store product fairs in Tokyo led to increased sales, helping the company overcome its financial crisis and rapidly grow as a Western confectionery manufacturer.
